Stellar Lanes League information

We strive to provide the most current and comprehensive information regarding league bowling at Stellar Lanes.

Most of our weekly bowling leagues begin their season in September Just after Labour Day and play through until Mothers Day.

Leagues who play on Sundays or Mondays take short breaks or weeks off for Thanksgiving, Family Day, and Easter.

All leagues take off the school holiday breaks for Christmas/New years and March Break.

This works out to about 30 to 33 weeks of play for all leagues.

Daytime leagues usually run from about 1pm-3:00pm. Evening leagues usually run from about 7:00pm-9:00 pm.

Daytime league bowlers can expect to pay around $20 each week. Evening leagues can expect to pay about $25 each week. These weekly dues typically include prize money for awards at the end of the season. Most leagues ask for payment a couple of weeks of advance in case of absence.

Leagues are charged lane rental fees for all bowlers on their roster each week. Bowlers who begin playing in a league are expected to be committed for the rest of that seasons schedule. Drop in league bowling, or sending a substitute is not permitted.

If you know you cannot make it to bowl at sometime through the season, a bowl-off or pre-bowl is highly recommended to support your team. Having a "just in case" bowl-off in the bank is always a good idea. You never know when illness, family emergency, or inclement weather you'd rather not travel in will occur.

Bowl-offs are permitted most days during the league season between Sunday at 5pm to Friday at 5pm. Calling ahead to check availability is highly recommended.

Bowl-offs are not available during holidays or school PA days due to increased customer volume during these times.

If bowlers do not have their own bowling shoes, then shoes may be rented at the front counter. It is therefore encouraged to purchase your own bowling shoes. Over the course of a season or two they will pay for themselves. Entry level bowling shoes may be purchased for around $90-$130 and should last  several seasons.
